Brent grew up in the small coastal town of Palacios, Tx in a loving Christian home. At
the age of 8, after many weeks of struggling through thoughts of death and mortality
and the sin that causes it (and several sleepless nights by his parent’s bedside), the
Lord redeemed Brent and saved him from his sins. Brent married his bride Wendy after
their first year of college. Serving as a part time youth and children’s pastor for nearly 8
years and serving as a houseparent with his wife at South Texas Children’s Home
exposed him and his family to many of the blessings and burdens of ministry. After
many moves and being a member of several different churches, Brent and his family
moved to Lake Jackson, Tx in 2016 after accepting a job with Dow Chemical. Serving
God by helping and serving others and growing in Christ alongside his church family
bring Brent and his family great joy. Brent has been married to his wife Wendy since
2000 and they have 5 children - Braydon, Kenadi, Kole, Joeli, Trevor, and 1 grandchild -
Boaz. Brent has been an elder at CFBC for 5 years.
